The Old Barn (UKC998)

Just 2½ miles from Beverley, which is well known for its racecourse and minster, providing the perfect destination for you and your family.

Our Standard booking period runs Friday to Sunday for three nights stays and Friday to Thursday for seven night bookings. We do not accept bookings for less than three nights. We can at times, subject to availability, be flexible for four, five and six night stays beginning on a Friday. We are happy to confirm if these extensions are available if requested when you check availability. We also from time to time have a 4 night stay available Monday to Thursday please request preferred dates for our weekday break using the contact form on our site.


These superb barn conversions maintain many of their original features, and enjoy a peaceful location in the countryside. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s home, these semi-detached properties are within walking distance of the village pub (1.5 miles), where you can enjoy good food and a quiet drink alongside the river. Grab an ice cream from the parlour during the summer, whilst your little ones enjoy the large children’s garden area. There are great walks round the farm, as well as along the river bank and throughout the area. This location is also popular with cyclists, so be sure to bring your bikes, and enjoy this delightful setting in style.

Beverley is only 2½ miles away and is well known for its racecourse, minster, many boutiques and coffee shops. The coast at Hornsea can be reached within 10-miles, where visitors will find many of its traditional amusements and its promenade. To amuse your children, why not spend a day exploring the wildlife centre at Hornsea Mere? York is a great place for a day out and is about an hour’s drive away. The Deep at Hull is one of the UK’s biggest aquariums and is well worth a visit and is about half an hour away. Beach 9½ miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The Old Barn (ref UKC998) and The Cart Shed (ref UKC999) can be booked together to accommodate up to 14 guests.

The Old Barn can also accommodate pets (up to two small/medium dogs) and is suitable for partially disabled or elderly visitors, as two bedrooms, toilet, wet room, kitchen and living room with a south facing decking area are all located on the same level and are accessed via a ramp from the car parking area. An additional third bedroom with ensuite is available upstairs with traditional stairway access.
